WARSURGE App Update 1.3.50

The next WARSURGE app update is now live on Google Play and Apple Store. If your device does not download it automatically, you can go to the app store and update it manually.

The Auto Backup feature is now available in SETTINGS. You can create an account tied to your email address and associate it with your app data. After making a number of profiles or changes, it will automatically generate a backup tied to your account. You can also manually generate a backup in the Auto Backup tab. This process will cause the app to be temporarily unresponsive (in most cases with a ‘saving’ overlay).

The Auto Backup can also be convenient if you have multiple devices, such as a phone and tablet, or a computer. You can link the Warsurge app on these devices to your account and then easily backup then restore. That said, this is not intended as a synchronization feature and should be used with care.

Note that the more profiles (or save data) you have, the longer it will take to do auto backups. If you find that you never have data loss you may prefer to continue doing manual backups so you are not slowed while making profiles.

An additional note for those who use emulators to run Warsurge, in particular Bluestacks: I found that my auto backup caused issues for Warsurge on Bluestacks and I’ve now switched to MuMuPlayer (but it may just be my computer). That said, I’ve now added an area to the Discord to discuss using computer emulators to run Warsurge, which will be handy until we have a more consistent solution for running the app on computers.

A small correction has been made to the Italian translation for Point Cost (Double), which is an Activation Term.
